It has been decided! We have a live meeting for the Boston area Fight Forever Virtual Race!
Thank you to my wonderful friends who have all helped me organize this event and decide on a great location!!!! And a special thank you to Miss Stephanie for getting us a meeting place after with free fro yo!
So on April 1st, Sunday the plan is to meet at the Lexington bike path at 11:30. We will all get together and walk, run, jog!!! I will have it marked out for a 1 mile fun run/walk, a 5K and a 10K. I want everyone to have a chance to get together no matter what their current fitness level and be able to have fun! Also kids and pets are welcome!! I hear the Wubster may make his debut ;)
I will be making up some goody bags for everyone who comes out thanks to our wonderful sponsors who are listed here. Everyone will have a race bib number thanks to Road Id! I will also have medals for all finishers!!! Because after all, who does not love some new race bling?
After the fun run/walk we will head over to Yeh! Yogurt where the owner is going to serve us some wonderful Fro Yo!!! They have generously opened their doors to us to help us support the American Cancer Society and we are very excited!
Meeting address is 120 South Rd, Bedford, MA 01730 at 11:30 on April 1st.
If you want to just come to the after party then we will be there at 1pm and that address is: 106 Mall Rd. Burlington, MA 01803
It will be fun! We will have a raffle of some great gift cards, and items so even if you do not want to race/walk you can come to the after party and help us raise some money for the American Cancer Society.
Feel free to bring a buddy! And help us spread the word!
You can go here to register at active.com or donate directly on my main fundraising event website. Every tiny bit helps me reach my goal! Thank you so much!

Colleen, I am so bummed I can’t meet up with all of you. You are meeting on that path that I run 2 or 3 days a week. I work on Hartwell Ave. in Lexington. I will be thinking of the crew while I run mine on the Freedom of the sea. That is 4.5 laps per mile. Good luck and have fun. Take care Bill
Aww man Colleen I cannot believe I'm going to miss another chance to meet up with you! It's my son's 1st lax game and I cannot miss it!
Have fun and I'll be sure to make a donation.
Do you have more information for the people who will "virtual" run? Do we get a bib & medal?
Yes I am mailing all participants their race bibs and medals!!
I'm in! I'll be there. This path is an old friend I have run it many times. I'm looking forward to running it with you in support of your Boston Marathon run!
