I did Jillian Michaels new Power Yoga and lemme tell you as she says this workout is no joke! I burned 160 calories doing it!
Then I kept going I did JM the biggest loser Last Chance workout. it combines cardio and weight training intervals and I was definetly working out hard as I do at the gym. I ended with a nice set of stretches and drank my ISO 100 shake :)

There is no stopping me now!
So my workout today was intense!!!! I don't know if it was my new shirt that a fellow fit B recommended to me lol or I was just stressed out and working out my anger. But I did an hour and a half and burned 686 calories as you can see :) I did the elliptical for 25 minutes then ran on the treadmill for 25 minutes 2.4 miles and then did JM no more trouble zones and some aerobics.
Weigh in Day
I am more determined than ever to get under 200 pounds by the end of August. I think with a little more hard work and more running I can easily achieve this.
I think when losing weight it is important to know what your longterm goal is but I think it is most important to set small goals and work to acheive those first. So my short term goal was to get out of the 210s and now I am so excited to be there!!!!
Now I set myself a new mini goal to finally be back under 200 :)
I really look forward to my weight watcher meetings it keeps me on track and it is nice to have a support group to go to every week.

Question for everyone
So I am curious and would love to hear your thoughts. What motivates you to work out? Or even just to strive to be healthy in general?

working it!

Finally pushed myself back into the gym tonight! Sat and Sun were crazy and I went for walks with the baby but I did not hit the gym. And yesterday I woke up late and worked late so I didn't get to go.
It felt so good to go tonight! I changed my routine tonight I did JMs no more trouble zones first and I forgot to hit start on my monitor! ugh but then I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill for 23 minutes at a speed of 6mph and then I did the ellptical for 25 minutes. came home and stretched and I'm so tired!
but the rush is so worth it!

snack of the day!

Looking for a new refreshing treat? Going to a cookout and worried about temptation??
We have a birthday cookout to attend today so I thought what to do? I thought how about a nice refreshing fruit salad???
It took only 20 minutes to wash and chop all my favorite fruits such as cantelope, strawberry, blueberry, cherry, grape, kiwi, and pineapple. I learned this tip from my good friend who makes the best fruit salad. Chop all the fruit up tiny and mix it together let it sit in the fridge for a while. All the fruit juices mix together and it is yummy!
Only 2 points for a whole cup of fruit salad!
