So today the baby got up at 5AM so I fed her and put her back to bed and decided to workout today in the early morning because I know I will be working late tonight which usually means I do not get a chance to go workout. So the old me would have went back to sleep! But the new trying to be fit bee me decided get your lazy ass to the gym girl! So I changed and went to the gym. It was cool and crisp outside and I felt myself get a little sad since it was raining I could not go running. I think the best running weather here is early in the morning, maybe tomorrow.
So I did the elliptical routine like I normally do 25 minutes of cross training routine. Then I got on the treadmill and ran for a mile. I did not have time I have at night so I had to keep it to only a mile run and then walked for a total of 1.5miles.
I had to come home so my boyfriend could go to work. So I got out my stability ball and worked my core for about 15 minutes doing some crunches and weight training. Then I did some work on my arms. I did not want to work my legs today again since I ran 2 days in a row and worked them yesterday.
I feel great an energized now!!! I came home and had my ISO 100 protein shake. We will see how the day goes but I might get addicted to these early morning workouts. A great way to begin the day!
